  • The Mall's  Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre, developed and operated by Oceanis Australia Group, officially earned the Guinness World Record for the world's "Largest Acrylic Panel".

  • A key centerpiece is Dubai Aquarium, one of the largest tanks in the world at 51m x 20m x 11m and featuring the world's largest viewing panel at 32.8m wide and 8.3m high.

  • Dubai Aquarium has more than 33,000 living animals, representing more than 85 species including over 400 sharks and rays combined.

  • Dubai Aquarium's 270-degree acrylic walkthrough tunnel makes for incredible close-encounter experiences with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the planet.

  • A special 'lunar-cyclic' lighting system will change the ambience of the tank depending on the time of day.

SKI RESORT






Dubai is also known for its hot weather. If you want to avoid the heat then there is a large indoor ski area found in the middle of the desert. Imagine you can ski in Dubai? You can look into some of the best places where you can eat and shop at this indoor ski park. You can ski without going outside.Ski Dubai is the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East and offers an amazing snow setting to enjoy skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing or just playing in the snow. The construction covers an amazing 22,500 square meters covered with real snow all year round. Ski Dubai is related to the Mall of the Emirates and is part of Majid Al Futtaim Group of Companies.



THE PALM ISLAND





The Palm Islands are an artificial archipelago (islands) in Dubai. Major commercial and residential infrastructures IS constructed by Nakheel Properties, a property developer in The UAE. The Belgian and Dutch dredging and marine contractors, Jan De Nul and Van Oord, some of the world's specialists in land reclamation, were hired to complete construction. The islands are the Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira.
Each settlement will be in the shape of a palm tree, topped with a crescent. The settlements will have a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centers. The Palm Islands are located off the coast of The UAE in the Persian Gulf and will add 520 kilometers of beaches to the city of Dubai.


BURJ KHALIFA

Burj Khalifa known as Burj Dubai prior to its installation, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is the tallest structure in the world, at 829.8 m (2,722 ft). The construction of Burj Khalifa began on 21 September 2004. The building officially opened on 4 January 2010. The tower's architecture and engineering were performed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago, with Adrian Smith as chief architect, and Bill Baker as chief structural engineer. The primary contractor was Samsung C&T of South Korea. In March 2009, Mohamed Ali Alabbar, chairman of the project's developer, Emaar Properties, said office space pricing at Burj Khalifa reached US$4,000 per sq. ft. (over US$43,000 per m²) and the Armani Residences, also in Burj Khalifa, sold for US$3,500 per sq. ft. (over US$37,500 per m²).He estimated the total cost for the project to be about US$1.5 billion.
